Edinburgh an old city with perhaps the most spectacular city skyline in the UK.
If you believe in ghosts it must rate as one of the most haunted places in the country. The streets and closes can be like a giant maze. For me Edinburgh has a few ghosts from the past and I have a kind of love/hate view of Edinburgh.
The funny thing is I never thought I would be back there as me. This T journey for want of a better way of putting it began there.
The first maze was Waverley Station which is being done up at the moment was a challenge to get out off. I found my hotel on the edge of Leith, in familiar surroundings.
I got changed and went for a wander, but I must admit I struggled a bit to walk out of the room.
I got out of the hotel and found the GHQ club where we would be all meeting later. There would be about 60 girls out.
The entrance to GHQ which is below street level
I also found The Street pub where I would meet Anna and Miranda later. The stories they told me of their adventures were quite racy.

While having a look round the pink triangle I found the Blue Moon Cafe where I went for something to eat. A nice quiet place which good food and service
After meeting Anna and Miranda in The Street pub we went to Club Havanna and met some more girls.
It then came time for me to get changed for the night at GHQ.
GHQ's entrance was below street level so you could easily walk past it. Inside I found another maze. There were a few rooms and the club would fill rapidly around 11pm.
I met up with Miranda and Anna again. Caz who had organised it all came and said hello. I think she was surprised to see me. It was great to meet Lara again a lovely girl from Glasgow.
It was a fantastic night out and I wish I had more photos.
I laid a few ghosts to rest and ended up going home very happy the next day.
Below are more photos.
Me, Miranda, and another girl whose name I never got

Sounds like you had a great time Karen. It brings back happy memories of the city where I lived for a couple of years, not a stones throw from there ! see you soon x di
Thanks Di,
It was a great time in a place where I don't have many happy memories. I guess I banished a few ghosts from the past.
If I can I'll be out in Edinburgh again.
See you soon.
