Manchester Pride 2012 (1)

Back from Manchester Pride, and getting round to writing this has been difficult. I had a fantastic time despite warnings that I would be the only trans person there at times which wasn't true. I arrived before even  the fringe started. I actually spent a day shy of 2 weeks out and loved every minute of it.
I'll post in a bit more detail about what I saw with plenty of pictures and what I did each day, but as a taster here's an idea of what happened.
First I saw my friends at various points and I hope they enjoyed themselves as much as I did.
I had some counselling at the LGF which was a great help. I had never spent so long out and I was hoping to learn more about myself. Sort of related was a palm reading. I drank more than usual, but avoided getting drunk. Saw and heard some great live music. Met some wonderful people and made a new friend. Did lots of shopping and spent to much. Took 3 trips outside the City of Manchester which were interesting for me.
The one thing I can say is those 2 weeks were one of the best times I've had and I feel really sad that it's all over. What wasn't good was  my feet swelled up.

Sparkle 2012 {Sunday and Monday}

Alex came round to the apartment and after a short discussion about what we should do I suggested the Alan Turing exhibition at the Manchester Museum. I had already been to see it and I knew Diana would  be very interested. It was a beautiful day so it was decided and we had a nice walk to the museum.
13/8/12
I kind of forgot about this post with all that has been going on in my life at the moment. The Sunday was wonderful. In the evening we spent a great night in Via. The next morning with me back in bob mode I took Diana to the Retro Bar for breakfast as a small thank you. As bob it was nice for me to take a beautiful woman out for a meal. I'd had a fantastic time and now I'm on the verge of my next time out. I hope everything goes well.
The Olympics have just finished and they have shown a fantastic side to  this country. I hope the feel good remains for as long as possible and it has a real positive effect on British society.
I'll finish this post with a couple more photos of a wonderful happy time for me.
